Bunny Bouquet Tissue Topper In Plastic Canvas

 You'll want to hug this friendly bunny every time you see him bringing you a pot filled with fresh daisies from his garden! Stitch this topper to add springtime charm to your home!

Materials
• 2 sheets 7-count plastic canvas
• Coats & Clark Red Heart Classic worsted weight yarn Art. E267 as listed in color key
• Coats & Clark Red Heart Super Saver worsted weight yarn Art. E300 as listed in color key
• 6-strand embroidery floss as listed in color key
• #18 tapestry needle
• 2 (6mm) round brown animal eyes 
• 12mm triangular black animal nose 
• 6 inches 1/4-inch-wide yellow satin ribbon
• 4 (1-inch) faux silk daisies 
• 1-inch terra-cotta pot
• Tacky craft glue or hot-glue gun 
 
Cutting & Stitching 
1. Cut plastic canvas according to graphs.
2. Stitch tissue topper pieces following graphs, working uncoded areas with blue jewel Continental Stitches.    
3. When background stitching is completed, work celery Straight Stitches on front, back and sides. Using white yarn,  work 3/8-inch-long loops for daisy petals on sides and back where indicated on graph. 
4. Overcast inside edges on top with yellow and bottom edges of front, back and sides with celery. Whipstitch front and back to sides with white and blue jewel following graphs, then Whipstitch front, back and sides to top with blue jewel.
5. Stitch bunny pieces following graphs, reversing one arm before stitching and working two ear fronts as graphed and two ear backs entirely with warm brown Continental Stitches.
6. Backstitch and Straight Stitch mouth and whiskers with black 6-strand embroidery floss. 
7. Using warm brown through step 8, Overcast ear openings on head front and head back between arrows. Overcast side and bottom edges of head front from dot to dot and bottom edge of head back. 
8. For each ear, Whipstitch wrong sides of one ear front to one ear back.
Assembly 
1. Using photo as a guide throughout assembly, glue eyes and nose to head front. Glue ears inside openings on head.
2. Glue head to topper front at top of body Glue top of arms to shoulders of bunny on front.
3. Tie yellow satin ribbon in a bow and glue to neckline.
4. Glue daisies inside terra-cotta pot; glue pot in place between bunny arms so it looks like he is holding the pot.
