This pretty sampler combines heart and flower motifs in a design reminiscent of traditional samplers. but with a fresh twist and clean colours that fit perfectly into today's interpretation of vintage style. stitch the long 'stem' of this heart to link the flower to the large outer heart. Return to the central flower and stitch out from the dark - green heart to complete the design.
VARIATION
A simpler version of the same design. worked without the two smaller hearts, is mounted within a heart-shaped aperture in a greetings card to send to someone special.
Framed in a painted and distressed pale wood, the sampler makes a truly pretty picture.
