Wave-Stitch Crochet Coin Purse

The graduated stitches in this pattern result in a particularly beautiful piece when you use two complementary colors. You can use the same pattern to make a larger purse or even a scarf. The wave stitch isn't difficult,but closely follow the stitch diagram below to avoid making mistakes.

3 skeins (3.5 oz/121 yd/100 g per skein) any #5 bulky yarn

Used in this project: 
Patons Shetland Chunky 75% acrylic/25% wool yarn in Taupe (Substitute: Bernat Softee Chunky, Moda Dea Tweedle Dee or Patons Rumor)
Sizes J/10 (6mm) and G/6 (4mm) crochet hooks
1 brown purse handle with metal rings at ends, any size; handle shown is approx 13" (33cm) when folded
