MATERIALS:
1.5 sheets of 7-count plastic canvas
9mm round ruby faceted acrylic stone
8" (20.3cm) white 1/4" [6mm] satin ribbon
Three (3.8cm) pieces of green cloth-covered floral wire
Craft glue or glue gun
Worsted-weight or plastic canvas yarn; for amounts see Color Key.
CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS:
A: For box wide sides, cut four 9 x 14 holes.
B: For box narrow sides, cut four 9 x 11 holes.
C: For box rim, cut one according to graph.
D: For box bottom and lid top. cut two (one for bottom and one for top) according to graph.
E: For lid lining, cut one according to graph.
F: For lid lip wide and narrow pieces, cut four 2 x 10 holes and four 2 x 8 holes.
G: For flower petals. cut two according to graph.
H: For stem, cut one 1 x 21 holes (no graph)
I: For leaves, cut three according to graph.
STITCHING INSTRUCTIONS:
NOTE: One D piece is not worked for box bottom.
1: Using colors and stitches indicated. work A, B, one D for lid top, E (leave uncoded areas unworked). F, G and I pieces according to graphs; with silver. Overcast cutout edges of C. With mint. Overcast edges of H and I pieces.
2: For each flower petal. with baby pink. Whipstitch Y edges of one G right sides together as indicated on graph: Overcast unfinished edges. Tack pieces together according
to Sweet Pea Assembly illustration.

3: With silver, Whipstitch and assemble A-F pieces as indicated and according to Box Assembly Diagram .
4: Tie ribbon into a bow, or cut and glue ribbon pieces together according to Bow Assembly . glue stone to center of bow.
5: Coil each wire around a pencil to curl. Glue leaves, coils and bow to H: glue flower petals together and to one end of H; glue leaves, stem and flower to top of lid as desired or as shown in photo.

Step 2:
Whipstitch E and lid top D wrong sides together, forming lid.
Stip 3:
Whipstitch A-C and bottom D pieces together, forming box.
